HISTORY
In 1999 ECON was founded by a team of specialists in plastics machinery for the invention, development, assembly and marketing of new technologies for screen-changers (plastic melt-filters) and underwater pelletizers.
- 2001 - Patent for screen changer with automatic backflush unit
- 2002 - First delivery of an ECON underwater pelletizing system for PET
- 2004 - Patent application for an automatic venting system for screen changer
- 2005 - trademark for the developed high wear resistant CECONID® plate
- 2007 - ECON receives the Upper Austrian innovation award
- 2008 - ECON gets the Austrian state's innovation award ECONOVIUS within the category SME
- today - ECON offers the leading technology in underwater pelletizing
