In addition to the high-performance underwater pelletizing systems, ECON enlarges it’s product range with the brand-new air pelletizing system, specially developed for the processing of wood- and natural-fiber-compounds. (e.g. WPC)

On the basis of water as cooling- and transport medium, the processing of wood-plastic-compounds with conventional underwater-pelletizing systems is combined with considerable drying efforts. Especially, when the percentage of wood or natural-fiber is higher than 50%, common drying methods do not ensure satisfying degrees of dryness.

The major objective of the development of this new pelletizing-type was to use air as cooling- and transport-medium for granules to eliminate the effort of drying.
